Wow... did not see this coming! Throne basically just rolled up to the Surron Ultra Bee and said "What's up bro?". 27kW and 60Ah is absolutely no joke... but at only $5,499, the Z27 needs to be added to your list of mid-sized eMoto options. The Z27 absolutely rips, brakes hard, and handles like it has something to prove. For the money, this thing is punching way above its weight, and honestly, the big names should be paying attention.

I'm not much for writing reviews or computers in general, but my grandson has been going on about these electric dirt bikes for the better part of a year, so I decided to surprise him for his 16th birthday. My daughter helped me find Creature Racing online. I'll admit I was hesitant spending this kind of money on something I'd never laid eyes on, but a young man named Marcus walked me through the whole thing over the phone, patient as could be, and never once made me feel foolish for asking the same question twice. The bike arrived a few days before the party, packed up real careful, and Marcus even called to make sure I had everything I needed to get it put together. The look on the boy's face when he pulled the cover off was worth every penny. He tells me it's faster than his friend's Surron, whatever that means, and that the brakes are "insane." I'll take his word for it. Thank you to the folks at Creature Racing for making an old man look like a hero. We'll be back when he wears this one out.
not gonna lie the first time I twisted it I almost looped it 😂 this thing has way more snap than I expected coming off my old surron. once I got used to it though its addicting. the direct drive is my favorite thing, no belt to mess with, way less maintnance than the buddies who run talarias. ordering thru creature racing was clean, week and a half to my door, and the rep answered all my dumb first-timer questions over text. ultra bee feels overpriced after riding this ngl
Real talk, I almost didn't pull the trigger. Buying a bike I've never sat on, from a website, with my credit card? Felt sketchy at first. But everything Creature Racing promised, they delivered. The online buying process was clean, shipping was quick (8 days to my door in TX), and I had an actual human I could text whenever I had a question. Not a chatbot, a real dude who knew the bikes. And the Z27? Man. This thing rips. It rides way bigger than its price tag. For $5,499 I genuinely don't understand how they're doing it. Throne cooked with this one and Creature Racing made the whole experience painless. Buy with confidence.
ok my favorite part has gotta be the bottom end. took it up my buddies favorite hill climb that his ultra bee struggles on and the z27 just walked up it no drama. 27kw mid drive hits HARD. we did back to back runs and honestly the throttle response felt smoother than his bike. creature racing got it to me in like 9 days, rep texted me the whole way thru. for $5499 im still confused how this thing exists lol
been riding e-motos for 4 years, owned a surron and a talaria. the z27 is the most bang for your buck I've seen yet. 27kw mid drive pulls hard and the direct drive setup means way less maintnance headaches. ordering thru creature racing was smooth, bike got here in a week and a half, packed really well. my rep answered like every dumb question I had over text without making me feel stupid lol. genuinely impressed with the service. this is my dealer from now on.
Bought the Z27 in the black/oro and it's a beauty. Took about two weeks to arrive which was a little longer than I hoped but the rep kept me updated the whole time so I never felt left in the dark. Power is awesome, brakes feel strong. Knocking one star only because I had a small question about the charger and it took a day to hear back, but once they did, they sorted it fast. Would recommend to a friend.
I had a Komodo for about a year before this and was curious how the Z27 would stack up. Honest comparison: the Komodo felt a little more refined out of the box, but the Z27 has noticeably more grunt and the bigger 60Ah pack means I'm not babying the range on longer trail days. The thing I love most is the brakes. My Komodo always felt a touch wooden to me, and the wave-cut hydraulic setup on the Z27 has this progressive bite that just inspires confidence dropping into corners. First real ride I took it on a 20-mile mixed loop, rocky stuff and some fast fire roads, and it never felt out of its depth. The Creature Racing buying process was painless too, dedicated rep, real tracking updates, and the bike showed up packed like a tank. If you're cross shopping the Komodo and willing to give up a little polish for more power and value, the Z27 is a no brainer.
