S-VIN vs Y-VIN
One bike, two versions. Know which you're buying.
Not all Sur-Rons are the same. Every Sur-Ron sold in the U.S. is one of two versions. They may look identical and share nearly the same specs, but one is an authorized U.S. bike while the other is a grey-market import that can't use the official Sur-Ron app, doesn't include an MCO for titling and registration, and isn't backed by the U.S. warranty.
The difference is surprisingly easy to spot: the 4th character of the VIN. We call it the S-VIN vs. Y-VIN distinction. S = Authorized U.S. Y = Grey Market.

What more can be said about the Surron Light Bee X... This is literally the bike that created the whole eMoto industry. The Light Bee X is basically the Brad Pitt of electric dirt bikes... an industry gold standard and Oh so handsome, haha! The 2026 LBX got a much needed upgrade to the long awaited 72v system, which is great, but what I love more than anything is Surron's unrelenting commitment to quality control and reliability. Regarding quality, Surron is the Toyota of Emoto's; regarding performance, it's the Porsche!
