The Light Bee didn't just join the e-moto world, it created it. The Light Bee 2 is what happens when Sur-Ron takes that blueprint and rebuilds it from the ground up. Same featherweight feel at roughly 65 kg and an accessible 830 mm seat. Everything underneath is new. It starts with a breakthrough: a true semi-solid-state battery developed with QingTao Energy, packing 3.53 kWh into just 14.9 kg at 320 Wh/kg per cell. That's a gel-electrolyte pack that runs cooler, resists thermal runaway, and pushes real-world range past 160 km, all while feeding up to 16 kW of peak power and a 65 mph top end through the new Evo 2 motor. The B-Matrix controller turns that power into seven ride modes, from Crawl to Turbo, plus a fully custom "M" mode that lets you dial output, torque, and speed exactly where you want them. Then there's the part you feel before you read the spec sheet. A forged-aluminum double-cradle frame, 50% stronger, with the welds engineered out. Kashima-coated 38 mm forks with 215 mm of dual-chamber travel. Four-piston calipers biting 220 mm rotors that refuse to fade. And a brain to match: SWCON wheelie assist with beginner and advanced modes, a linear RBS regen trigger that doubles as a backup throttle, and three-stage traction control. This isn't the next version of the Light Bee. It's the reason there was ever a first one.
